The mainstay of our calendar is the monthly lunch in the Old Hall at Queens’ College  [pictured on the right].  It starts with networking, followed by a formal three course lunch. Over coffee, we like to keep you entertained and informed with a different speaker and topic each month.

Our speakers are generally leading members of the local business community. We choose them carefully, with a remit to give stimulating talks on topics of business interest. If you would like to be a speaker, or would like to suggest someone, please do get in touch.

We also meet for monthly Evening Networking at the Town & Gown, usually in the week that’s the midpoint between the lunches.

First visit or coming as a guest?

If you haven’t been to the college before and would like someone to meet you beforehand, show you in and introduce you to some members, please don’t hesitate to contact the committee at cbpcevents@gmail.com  and we’ll be delighted to help.

The Old Hall

After assembling in the “Old Kitchens” for networking and drinks before the lunch, you summonsed into the magnificent “Old Hall” to dine.

The original college dining hall, it dates from 1448 and includes decorative features by William Morris, Ford Maddox Brown and Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

Behind the high table are portraits of Erasmus who came as a visiting scholar, Elizabeth Woodville, wife of King Edward IV and one of the founding queens, plus Sir Thomas Smith, statesman and principal secretary of State to King Edward VI.
